We are looking for someone that ‘gets’ nonprofit digital and who can help find the right clients who are ready to work with Firefly and move their digital work forward like never before. As our new Relationship Manger, you will be our client’s first point of contact. You will need to be a good listener, bring a solid understanding of strategic and technical needs, and excellent problem-solving skills. Your role is to gain understanding of where the client is in their journey towards to their goals, and then to guide them through the process of understanding how our marketing, website, or solutions services can bring ease to their journey. This position is responsible for success in the following areas:

Essential Functions

  1. Evaluate leads generated through Firefly marketing efforts/channels – including but not limited to email campaigns, conferences, webinars, and partner relationships – to ensure that Firefly can solve the problem(s) that the prospect or clients has brought to the company.  
  2. Sharing the value that Firefly can bring to each prospective client.
  1. Create proposals and cultivate contracts with teammates as needed throughout the relationship cycle.
  1. Carry out strategic partnership building with key leads.
  2. Regularly report on the status of opportunities, procuring and assessing data from a variety of sources and making recommendations based on that data.
  3. Making introductions to the correct team members internally to create problem-solving proposals. Assisting the clients in making the process as easy and positive as possible.
  1. Actively participate in full team meetings and cross-team new business meetings on a regular basis to ensure consistent flow of information throughout the team.
  1. Work in collaboration with team members to understand Firefly’s services and ensure services are scoped and provided with an appropriate degree of accuracy and a focus on the value our services bring to our clients.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.


Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations can and will be made to ensure the success of each team member.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

This position requires occasional travel, both local and throughout the United States. 


Required Education and Experience

  1. A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or equivalent experience.
  1. Two to five years in any relationship-building role. Previous experience with digital marketing and website services in an agency setting strongly preferred.
  2. Two to five years’ experience working with or for nonprofit social impact organizations.
  3. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  4. Familiarity with Hubspot, Office365, and Accelo (or other PM tools) preferred.
